This Week in the Garden

Our seasons are turning, although very slowly. The weather is hot here but autumn is definitely in the air. Some plants are still producing, while others are obviously on their way out. The tomatoes have given their last fruits so we’ll be enjoying the remaining bounty in the coming days. The winter crop will be in the ground soon and a new adventure will begin.

The cajun bell peppers all got some weird rot on the bottom. I haven’t researched to find out what/who could be the culprit.

Another grasshopper visitor was in the lemon balm patch. I still didn’t have the guts to pull his head off.
